Thank you for choosing to stay at Penlan Lodges. By making this booking you are entering into an agreement with us; please read our Terms & Conditions carefully.

1. Booking, Prices & Payment

1.1 The price shown at the time of booking includes the accommodation and any additional extras selected at that time.
1.2 Payment may be made via Stripe or PayPal.
1.3 A non-refundable deposit of 25 % is due at the time of booking to secure your dates. (As confirmed in our FAQ: “A 25% deposit of the holiday is payable at the time of booking to secure your dates.”) Penlan Lodges
1.4 The remaining balance will be debited from your card approximately eight (8) weeks before your stay.
1.5 In the event the booking is made within six (6) weeks of the arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking. (See FAQ: “Bookings made less than 6 weeks out must be paid in full.”) Penlan Lodges
1.6 All amounts are in £ sterling unless otherwise stated.

2. Check-In / Check-Out

2.1 Check-in from 4:00 pm and check-out by 11:00 am. Penlan Lodges+1
2.2 Early check-in (from 2:00 pm) may be available at an additional charge of £30 (to be added via the extras section) per stay. Penlan Lodges
2.3 Unless agreed otherwise, these times must be adhered to to allow for the preparation of the lodge for the next guests.

3. Cancellation & Insurance

3.1 Once your booking has been confirmed and deposit paid, a legally binding contract exists between you and Penlan Lodges.
3.2 The 25% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. (As stated in FAQ: “Are deposits refundable? No, the 25% deposit upon booking is non-refundable.”) Penlan Lodges
3.3 If you need to cancel your stay, you must contact us immediately. We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel/holiday insurance to cover cancellation for personal circumstances. Penlan Lodges
3.4 If you request to change your booking dates for personal reasons, you must notify us at least two (2) weeks prior to your arrival date to allow us time to attempt to re-let the lodge. Should we be unable to re-let the accommodation, we are unable to offer any refund.
3.5 We strongly recommend you purchase cancellation/holiday insurance to cover your stay in full.

4. Amendments to Bookings

4.1 Should you wish to amend a confirmed booking (e.g., change dates or lodge), this is possible up to six (6) weeks before the holiday start date.
4.2 An administrative charge of £20 will be applied for any amendments.
4.3 Amendments are subject to availability.

5. Liability & Damage

5.1 Penlan Lodges, its owners, employees or contractors disclaim liability for any loss, damage or injury to any member of the party, their vehicles or possessions, except where such damage or injury is the result of our proven negligence.
5.2 You are responsible for any damage or breakage caused during your stay and agree to reimburse us for the cost of repair or replacement.
5.3 You undertake to keep the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition, respecting the property and its contents throughout your stay.

6. Occupancy, Behaviour & Miscellaneous

6.1 The total number of guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy for the chosen lodge, unless prior written permission has been granted.
6.2 Pets are prohibited at Penlan Lodges (because this is a working sheep farm). Penlan Lodges+1
6.3 You agree to conduct yourself in a manner which does not annoy or disturb neighbouring guests. We reserve the right to terminate a stay without refund in the event of unacceptable behaviour.
6.4 Smoking is not permitted inside the lodges.
6.5 Please note: As the lodges are located on a working sheep farm, some areas may be restricted for safety reasons. You must follow any directions given and respect all gates and livestock.
6.6 The lodges and associated outdoor facilities (hot tubs, play areas) are used at your own risk.

7. Changes by Us / Force Majeure

7.1 We reserve the right to cancel or alter your booking in the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to farm operations, adverse weather, or maintenance requirements).
7.2 In such event our liability is limited to refunding monies paid; we will not be liable for any additional costs you may incur.
7.3 We will always endeavour to offer alternative dates where possible.

8. General

8.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
8.2 If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
8.3 These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time; the version effective at time of booking shall apply to your stay.
