What a truly wonderful place you have here - thank you both so much for providing us with the most beautiful and relaxing weekend away.
We both agree that this is the nicest place we've ever stayed in and it's all down to the many thoughtful details that make Shepherds Hill what it is.
From the incredible views to wake up to each morning, the cosy fire pit, the amazing parquet flooring to the thoughtful provision of a welcome hamper filled with handmade treats - your love and attention to detail makes this place one of a kind!
We spent a day walking in Elan Valley and visited water-break-it's-neck
waterfall, both definitely worth a visit.

“Exceeded all expectations”
We’ve had an amazing four nights staying at Ewe View to escape usual busy life welcomed by Anita Glyn as well as Meg and Molly! Accommodation and facilities provide a fully equipped break and welcome basket of eggs biscuits and other treats didn’t last long.
Kids made themselves at home with the outdoor play equipment and quickly made friends with the lambs and ewe’s from the terrace. After a busy day on the farm where time passes all to quickly coming back to Ewe View was great for the kids to get creative in the mud kitchen and to make the most of the hot-tub.
Probably the best part of the children being kept entertained and exhausted by the end of each day that their electronic devices weren’t even unpacked!
Would definitely recommend a visit and have already booked again!

From day one, we had the warmest welcome - meeting the new lambs and all of the dogs.
We've had a fantastic stay here and don't want to leave. From the beautiful surroundings, the fun on the farm, the great places to explore this has been one of our best holidays as a family.
It has been a perfect base to see the red kites, Ludlow and Hay - on - Wye.

What a beautiful weekend we've had! The views are spectacular, whatever time of day or weather condition - continually stunning.
The lodge felt luxurious and plush it's clear you have put a lot of time and effort into creating this hidden gem.

Always such a warm welcome and the Christmas Tree and decor was such a lovely surprise.

What a wonderful slice of Welsh heaven you have created here.
I choose holiday destinations based on baths and Shepherds Hill did not disappoint!
Stargazing from the hottub was bliss and breakfast in bed watching the birds swoop across the fields was a wonderful way to slowly start the day.
Elan Valley was lovely to explore when the weather permitted and the cabin was a cosy place to retreat when it didn't.

After spending hours on the Canopy and Stars website going through every place to find the perfect location for our first holiday we came across Shepherds Hill and knew it was the one!
All we can say is WOW ! Anita and Glyn have thought of everything.
The lodge has the most gorgeous views which were amazing to wake up to every morning whilst eating breakfast in bed.
We had some super clear nights spending time looking at the incredible stars which were definitely a highlight of our week!

What can we say.... this place is heavenly! The hottub, the view, the BATH. We've had such a relaxing week, only helped by all the personal touches and thoughtful welcome hamper.
If we could we would honestly pack in the old life and come and live here permanently!!
